How to propagate the money tree

The first step is to select suitable branches from the money tree plant and then cut them off with a knife. Generally, the cutting length is 10cm. Note that the branches you choose should be relatively sturdy, and when cutting the branches, the cuts should be smoother.

The second step is to tidy up the removed branches and remove most of the leaves. This can reduce nutrient consumption and prevent excessive evaporation from the leaves during rooting, which can lead to water loss.

The third step is to prepare the potting soil. Use clean river sand as the medium, disinfect it with carbendazim, put it into the flowerpot, and water it thoroughly. It is best if the water flows out of the flowerpot.

The fourth step is to carry out cuttings. Apply some rooting agent on the wounds of the branches of the money tree, and then insert it into the river sand.

Step five: maintenance. After cuttings, you can place them directly in a cool place and pay attention to moisturizing. It is better to spray water. Generally, they will take root in about 20 days.
