How to breed red flower jade

How to breed red flower jade

Seed propagation

You need two pots of red flower jade and use artificial pollination. When the red flower jade is in full bloom, the stamens inside the red flower jade will be fully exposed. Brush it a few times with a brush, and then cross-pollinate, and it will produce seeds. After about a month, the seed pods will crack and can be picked. Dig out the pulp and seeds together. After drying in the sun, the pulp will shrink on its own, and the seeds can be collected. It is recommended to carry out autumn and spring sowing. During the growth period of the seedlings, it is important to keep warm and moist, and maintain a certain amount of light to prevent excessive growth. When the temperature is too low in winter, you must take measures to keep warm. When the temperature is too high in summer, you must pay attention to preventing exposure to the sun and drought.

Bulb propagation

When propagating by dividing bulbs, you need to select healthy, large, dark green small bulbs, cut them with a knife, and then dry the wound for at least a week, then place the cut next to the sand. Some flower lovers will break off the small balls with their hands, but this is not recommended because it can easily damage the mother plant. It is best to cut it with a knife.

Cultivation management

The red flower jade has a strong vitality and strong habits. It likes to bask in the sun and can tolerate short periods of semi-shade. It does not have high requirements for soil, so it is relatively easy to keep. When cultivating the red flower jade, it is necessary to create a warm, dry and sunny growing environment for it, water it in time, pay attention to cold protection in winter, provide appropriate shading during high temperatures in summer, ventilate it in time, and avoid humidity and heat.

The above is the propagation method of Crimson Jade. I hope flower lovers can propagate Crimson Jade according to the editor’s suggestions!
