Antifreeze and keep warm

In late autumn, after the temperature drops, move the plants indoors in time for maintenance and place them in a sunny and warm place. Control the indoor temperature above 5℃ and keep the soil in the pot dry to avoid root rot. It should be noted that you should not place the plant near the window at night to avoid cold wind.

Proper watering

The temperature of the potting soil is relatively low in winter, so you can reduce watering appropriately. Watering is generally done at noon when the temperature is higher. The water temperature should not be too low, just be comparable to the ambient temperature.

In addition, when watering, do not wet the leaves at the bottom of the daisy, so as to avoid the temperature being too low and the water not volatilizing for a long time, causing root rot.

Prune diseased branches

Pruning your rueba during the winter is an important step in promoting healthy growth. In winter, the growth of rosa canina is slow or even stops. At this time, diseased branches, insect-infested branches, and overly long branches should be cut off in time.

It is best to prune on a sunny day to allow the wound to dry as quickly as possible and avoid disease infection after pruning.

Pest and disease control

The temperature is lower in winter, and many pests and diseases basically enter the hibernation state, reducing their harmfulness. It is a good season for prevention and control. If you do not repot the plant that year, you can bury an appropriate amount of granular medicine in the soil in winter to kill insect eggs.

The soil should also be loosened in winter, and the cuttings should be planted back and forth in the soil using a small shovel.
