It can be said that the height of the entire plant is supported by this pedicel, and the top of the pedicel is the flower ball. The flowers are also very dense, with each petal about 1 cm in diameter. The leaves are similar to corn leaves, with the tail drooping downward, but the leaves are longer, about 60 cm in diameter and about 10 cm in width.

The difference in flowering period

The flowering period of hydrangea is from June to August, while the flowering period of pompom is earlier, from May to June. Just when the pompom is about to end, hydrangea begins to bloom.

The difference in color

Hydrangea has a variety of gorgeous colors, but the large pompoms we usually see are only purple-red. But in fact, it also has different colors. Among them, hydrangea has a blue and white flower ball, which has more colors than the large pompoms.
