You don’t need to know too much to grow flowers! Just learn these 4 tricks

You don’t need to know too much to grow flowers! Just learn these 4 tricks

Living well: Choose good soil

Choosing the right soil is half the battle in growing flowers. If you are a novice in growing flowers, don’t go around looking for soil for the flowers. Not only will it be a waste of time, but it will also be difficult to find suitable soil. Huahua gives you two suggestions. ① Choose leaf mold from the mountain: rich in nutrients, loose and breathable ② Directly purchase special flower-growing medium: the soil prepared for you by a flower-growing expert must be correct!

Drink well: water well

①Please don’t ask how often you should water your plants. If you water them every few days, your plants will definitely die.
② Plants of different sizes need to be watered differently. Can children and adults drink the same amount of water? Also, the frequency and amount of watering are different at different times. Let's use people as an analogy. You definitely drink different amounts of water in summer and winter.

So how do you know if your plants need watering?

① The leaves of plants are wilting: When you find that the leaves of plants are wilting, it is most likely due to lack of water.
②The topsoil is dry: Try it with your hand, it should not feel damp.
Once you find that the plant is short of water, replenish water in time.

Eat well: Fertilize well

Plants not only need to "drink well" but also "eat well". If you can learn how to fertilize correctly, you will be 90% successful. The simplest way to fertilize: Beginners should not try to make fertilizers by themselves. Instead, buy slow-release granular fertilizers, such as Aolv Manure, Huaduoduo, etc., or buy special plant fertilizers, which are available on the market.
When applying fertilizer, pay attention to the following eight points. Do not apply fertilizer in this case:
1. Do not apply fertilizer to newly planted plants. 2. Do not apply fertilizer during the flowering period. 3. Do not apply fertilizer during the dormant period. 4. Do not apply fertilizer under the roots. 5. Do not apply concentrated fertilizer. 6. Do not apply raw fertilizer. 7. Do not apply nitrogen fertilizer alone. 8. Do not apply fertilizer to sick and weak plants.

Put it in the right place

For the flowers you grow, you should at least know whether they prefer shade or sun, so that you can place them in the right positions in a targeted manner and the plants can shine. Generally speaking, most flowering plants like sunlight, such as peonies, peonies, roses, nasturtiums, sunflowers, osmanthus, camellias, jasmines, and gardenias. If they are placed in a place with no light at all, their growth effect will definitely be poor.
Foliage plants are generally shade-tolerant. Plants like Aspidistra, Chlorophytum, Pothos, Pachira, Cercidiphyllum, and Monstera can grow healthily even without sufficient light.
Caring for plants is the same as caring for people. You need to let them live well, eat well, and drink well so that they can grow comfortably and healthily. Otherwise, they will definitely be pale and thin. Flower lovers, do you agree?
