Breeding methods and precautions of Luanfeng Jade

form

The top of the Luanfeng Jade is short and pointed, wedge-shaped, and has a whole edge. The base is multi-branched and has short, coarse hairs. Entire edge. The inflorescence of the plant hangs down like a spike, with short hairs on the outside, and is lip-shaped, with the upper lip being entire or slightly lobed, and the lower lip being shallowly lobed.

Soil selection

The Luan Feng Jade is not very demanding on the soil and can grow normally within a certain range. In order to ensure the quality and yield of the product, it is advisable to choose fertile loam with strong fertilizer and water retention capabilities for planting.

Reproduction method

The maintenance of the phoenix jade is usually carried out by cutting propagation. Except for the hot and humid period in midsummer, it can be operated all year round and is easy to survive, with spring and autumn being the most suitable seasons.

Generally, after the peak flowering period, combined with shaping and pruning, strong branches of the current year are selected as cuttings, one section of the leaves are removed, and inserted into loose materials such as plain sand. Keep it warm and moist, and provide sparse shade, so that the plant can take root. If you transplant it in time, the Jade Plant will bloom the following year.

Temperature requirements

The Luanfeng Jade likes a mild, humid climate and a well-ventilated environment. During high temperature seasons, you should avoid strong winds and keep the plant in a cool and ventilated environment to prevent damage by pests and diseases. When the weather gets cold in late autumn, the potted plants should be moved indoors for cultivation so that they can receive sufficient light, and the plants should be re-pruned after flowering.

Fertilization requirements

The phoenix jade plant does not require much fertilizer. During the growing season, apply a thin layer of fertilizer once a month. It is better to have a thin layer than a thick layer. In winter, if the room temperature can only be maintained at a low level, you need to stop fertilizing and let the soil in the pot dry slightly so that the plant can safely overwinter.

Watering method

Start watering the plants from the time they are small seedlings, especially in hot and dry weather, and be careful to keep the soil in the pot moist. In addition, when there is plenty of sunlight, do not pour water directly on the bulbs to avoid burns and spots on the bulbs.
