How to deal with the growth of jade dew

Why is it so long?

Jade plant is relatively difficult to care for. Its main growing season is in the relatively cool spring and autumn seasons, and it requires a certain level of air humidity. It is drought-resistant but not cold-resistant. It avoids high temperature, humidity and scorching sun. It is afraid of shade and waterlogging in the soil.

So if there is not enough light and temperature, it will grow too tall.

What to do after leggy growth

Generally, stop watering and take it out to bask in the sun, but don't expose it to direct sunlight; rather, expose it to diffuse light.

Also remember that you cannot cut off the head of the plant for cuttings. If you cut it, it will die. Move it to a sunny place immediately and do not water it. Succulent plants cannot lack sunlight. Just put it in the sun now, and it generally won't continue to grow too tall.

In addition, the cultivation methods of Jade Plant need to be different according to seasonal changes. Some flower lovers moved the Jade Plant to a place with weaker light, and it grew well. However, the Ji Yu Lu, which was still maintained in such light after winter, began to grow too tall and have foggy windows after the Spring Festival.

The maintenance of Jade Plant is very particular about air humidity. You can spray water mist on the plant's growth environment to create a good atmosphere.

In summer, when the temperature is high, the Jade Plant stops growing and goes into dormancy, and its window surface turns white and loses its transparency.

In winter, the indoor temperature should be maintained above 5 degrees. The plant grows slowly and enters a semi-dormant state. At this time, the body of the jade plant is filled with juice, like a fully inflated balloon, and the window surface has the highest glossiness and best transparency.

The temperature is suitable in spring and autumn. If you observe that the jade plant begins to grow vigorously, it means that the root system is strong at this time. After the soil in the pot is dry, you can water the soil thoroughly, put it in a ventilated place for a few days to remove excess moisture from the soil, and then keep it in a sealed place.
