How are mushrooms grown?

Mushrooms are plants without roots, stems, leaves, or chlorophyll. To grow mushrooms, you need to crush mildew-free corn cobs into peanut-sized pieces and mix them with dry cow dung, urea, superphosphate, plaster of Paris, and dry lime powder.

Then pour water on it to make it moist. Then tear open the mushroom bag and put it on top to keep the environment moist while the mushrooms grow. After about a week, you can see mushrooms.

How to grow mushrooms

1. Mushroom cultivation steps

Before planting mushrooms, you need to prepare the soil by mixing corn cobs, flower seed husks, organic chicken manure, bran, cornmeal, and sawdust to allow it to fully ferment.

Then evenly spread the selected high-quality mycelium on the soil. It should be noted that the soil for growing mushrooms must be sterilized first, and a proper amount of humus must be added to improve fertility. After sowing the seeds, pour a proper amount of water on them, cover them with a layer of toilet paper , and place them in a dark and humid place to wait for them to grow.

2. Temperature and humidity control of mushrooms

The optimum growth temperature for mushrooms is around 24 degrees Celsius . Whether the temperature is too high or too low, it will affect its growth and have a considerable impact on its quality.

At the same time, it is necessary to water it every two or three days to ensure that the soil is moist enough to ensure the smooth growth of mushrooms. In addition, mushrooms are very sensitive to sunlight and will stop growing under light. Therefore, isolating light is crucial to the growth of mushrooms.

3. Mushroom pest control

Mushrooms are very susceptible to white rot or mushroom flies during their growth. Therefore, good ventilation is required during normal maintenance. If necessary, spray 50% benomyl + 1500 times of wettable powder to prevent white rot, and use cypermethrin and other agents to prevent mushroom flies.
