Can white palms be exposed to the sun?

White palm needs sunlight, and its growth requires the harvest of sunlight to promote photosynthesis, thereby promoting the germination and growth of the plant. If the environment is too shaded, white palm is prone to poor growth, but the daily light time should not be too long, 1-2 hours of light time per day is enough.

White palm growth light

Anthurium is afraid of direct sunlight, especially in summer. It is necessary to avoid direct sunlight on it, and do not place it in the sun, otherwise the plant will easily be sunburned and die. It is best to move it to a semi-shaded environment indoors. In addition to shading, hydrating and moisturizing is also very important.

White palm needs to be provided with a certain amount of light during winter and spring. After all, in such seasons, the light intensity is relatively low, so it is very beneficial for the plant to be exposed to the sun and fully receive light. Therefore, during this period of time, it is generally not necessary to use shading treatment for it, but to let it get more sun.

What to do if the white palm wilts in the sun

Anthuriums are generally maintained indoors. If they are suddenly exposed to the sun, the sudden change in environment will cause discomfort to the anthurium, mainly manifested by wilting and yellowing of the leaves.

Therefore, we should not move the flower pots casually, but do it step by step. If it is sunburned, move it to a cool place indoors immediately, and then slowly increase the light exposure time after it recovers.
