How to Plant Red Da Nei Jade

How to Plant Red Da Nei Jade

Soil preparation

1 part perlite + 1 part vermiculite + appropriate amount of peat (coarse river sand or coconut shell bricks can also be used) + rainbow stone (spread on the soil to prevent the soil from being blown away by the wind)

Choice of flower pots

Because the plant itself is very small, you can choose a flowerpot with a diameter of 10 cm, and the depth should also be more than 10 cm. A flowerpot of this size can plant 3 to 5 trees in each pot.

Planting method

Fill the pot with soil until it reaches half the height. It is best to put a small stone at the bottom to facilitate water infiltration for the plants.

Then place the seedling on the surface of the soil and continue to fill the soil, gently pulling the seedling upwards while filling the soil until the soil is almost level with the edge of the pot. Then use your hands to compact the soil and secure the seedlings.

After planting the seedlings, you can place the flowerpot directly in water, with the water level reaching half of the flowerpot. Let the water soak the soil and then take it out to drain. This will distribute moisture more evenly throughout the soil.

Post-planting care

After completing the above, place it in a place with good air circulation, no sunlight but bright, and a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees. After about a week, you can spread the rainbow stone on it and then place it in the sun for cultivation. The next watering will be about a week later, but the watering method is the same as the first watering method. Fertilization can be carried out after about a month.
