Planting methods and management techniques of black gem grapes

Black Ruby Grape is Early Black Ruby Grape, which is a new early-maturing grape variety. It was successfully bred by Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences after 5 years of research. It has large bunches, large grapes, soft flesh and sweet taste. Let's talk about the planting methods and management techniques of Black Ruby Grape.

1. Variety selection

Choose excellent varieties, such as Fujisaka and Gold Finger, which are early-maturing and highly adaptable. You can choose according to the local weather and fruit usage.

2. Land selection

Choose sandy soil with convenient transportation, convenient drainage and irrigation, deep soil layer and loose soil. Such soil has good air permeability and the ground temperature rises quickly, which is conducive to the growth of grapes.

3. Land preparation and fertilization

In autumn and winter, the land is prepared, organic fertilizer and soil are evenly mixed, base fertilizer is applied, such as about 1,500 kg of fermented fertilizer per mu, 100 kg of superphosphate is added, and then the soil is deep turned about 30 cm, the soil is pounded finely, and it is ready for planting.

4. Planting density and trellis type

Reasonable planting density and plant spacing should be determined based on the selected frame type. For example, the row spacing of a single-hedge trellis type can be 0.5~0.7 meters × 1.5~1.8 meters, with 880~556 plants planted per mu; the row spacing of a double-hedge trellis type can be 0.5~0.7 meters × 1.8~2 meters, with 740~476 plants planted per mu.

5. Plastic surgery

Use single-arm single-layer horizontal pruning or double-arm single-layer horizontal pruning, and prune in time according to the growth of the plants to promote healthy growth of the plants and increase yield.

6. Water and fertilizer management

Grapes require a lot of fertilizer . Base fertilizer should be applied in winter before leaf fall or budding; topdressing is applied for the first time before flowering. For example, apply 50-100kg of high-quality farmyard manure, 0.3kg of urea, and 0.8kg of superphosphate. During the rainy season, attention should be paid to drainage to prevent waterlogging.

7. Pest and disease control

Check the health of plants regularly and take timely preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests. For example, bagging the fruit clusters can reduce damage from pests and diseases, improve the cleanliness of the fruit clusters, and increase the commodity value.

Through the application of the above-mentioned planting methods and management techniques, the yield and quality of Zaoheibao grapes can be effectively improved, while ensuring the health and safety of the fruit, thereby obtaining better economic benefits.
