How to water the Euphorbia

How to water the Euphorbia

Watering method:

New potting:

Newly potted plants will be watered once to help them take root. Subsequent operations will depend on their actual conditions. They can be watered about once every 2 to 3 days, but the amount of water should not be too much.

Summer and Autumn:

Summer and autumn are its most vigorous growing seasons, but it is relatively drought-resistant, so do not water it too much. You can follow the principle of watering it thoroughly when it is dry. If it encounters rainy weather, delay watering and do not keep the soil in a moist state for a long time, otherwise it will easily cause root rot, and in severe cases, it will lead to the death of the entire plant. If you water the plant too much, it will grow too tall, which will not only affect its appearance but also be detrimental to its healthy growth.

Winter and Spring:

It has poor ability to resist cold, so it is generally kept indoors in winter. The temperature must be kept above 15 degrees. If the temperature drops to 12 degrees, it will enter a dormant period. At this time, you should reduce the amount of watering or even stop watering to keep the soil dry. Then wait until the temperature gradually rises in spring before resuming normal watering. If the temperature can be controlled between 15 and 18 degrees in winter, watering is sufficient every 10 days.

Note:

It is better to keep the soil on the drier side than too wet, so it is better to water less rather than more during daily watering. If you water too much, the roots of the plants won't be able to breathe.
