How to sow the stem apricot

Sowing time

The sowing time is generally after September, and the planting temperature should be controlled at 12 to 15°C at night and 24 to 27°C during the day. It is best to use a 6-8 cm shallow pot for sowing, leaving a 1-2 cm distance between the soil and the pot mouth.

Soil selection

Choose soil with good water retention and permeability, mix nutrient soil, peat soil, Akadama soil, Kanuma soil, charcoal particles, a small amount of wood ash, and coal slag, coarse sand, perlite, vermiculite, etc., put the large particles on the lower layer and the fine particles on the upper layer, and sprinkle a layer of fine particles of about one mm on the surface. To disinfect the soil, you can put it in the microwave at medium heat for five minutes. Put the soil into the flowerpot, use the immersion method to completely soak the soil, and then you can sow the seeds.

sowing

When sowing, be careful to spread the seeds evenly on the soil, do not cover it with soil. After sowing, cover the pot with glass or plastic wrap, maintain 80% humidity. Pay attention to shading and ventilation when the temperature is high during the day, and cover it at night. Choose a sunny day for sowing. After sowing, place the flower pot in a warm and humid place under the sun, and avoid excessively high temperatures.
