Lavender pruning before summer

Lavender needs pruning before summer

In this way, by cutting off some branches and leaves, it can make it more refreshing and enhance ventilation and light transmission. The plants can survive the summer better and enhance their ability to resist diseases.

How to prune lavender before summer

When pruning lavender, be careful to cut off two-thirds of the part of the lavender plant that is exposed to the ground, depending on the height of the plant, and keep the rest.

In fact, you don’t need to throw away the cut lavender branches. You can use them as cuttings for propagation, so that you can propagate new lavender plants.

Secondly, lavender is relatively simple. Insert the lavender branches into the soil and then spray water every day. In about 15 to 20 days, the lavender cuttings will take root. After rooting, transplanting can be done.
