Watering in all seasonsGenerally speaking, the correct frequency of watering is: water once every 15-20 days during the growing period from March to September; water once every 6-10 days during the rapid growth period; from October to February of the following year, when the temperature is 5-8℃, water once every 20-30 days. To water scientifically and reasonably, you must first learn to observe carefully and make correct judgments. Some succulents will have dark red leaves and dry leaf tips and old leaves when exposed to the sun or have root rot. Watering them at this time will be harmful to the succulents. Generally speaking, water in the early morning in summer, before noon on sunny days in winter, and in the morning and evening in spring and autumn; water more when the plant is growing vigorously, water less when the plant is growing slowly, and do not water during the dormant period. The water temperature for watering should not be too low or too high, and should be close to the indoor temperature. While watering the succulents during the growing season, you can spray water appropriately to increase the air humidity. The water used for spraying must be clean and free of any pollution or harmful substances. Avoid using hard water containing too much calcium or magnesium ions. Stop spraying water when the temperature drops in winter to avoid frost damage caused by excessive air humidity. Watering table |
