Succulent

I've known for a long time that succulents are hard to grow in summer. Now I count them, there are more than 50 empty pots piled up in the corner. I dare not look at them. I am in tears~

The weather is hot, black rot and waterlogging are common. Every time I go home, there must be a pot of dead plants...

If you leave it outside and it gets pecked by birds, or if you leave it at home and it gets gnawed by cats or mice, you should face it calmly...

Now I have mastered the Buddhist method of growing succulents. When autumn comes, I am still a brave man when I buy succulents!

Rose

Every time Huahua visits our community, it is full of beautiful pictures of roses, which makes her eyes dizzy. However, “you only see the new people smiling, but not the old people crying”. How is the rose in your home now?

Nowadays, roses are basically hybridized, with poor disease and insect resistance, and they are always lacking fertilizer. In short, your roses are either dying of disease, being bitten by insects, or being starved to malnutrition.

Looking at the roses of the great god blooming wave after wave, are you starting to doubt your life? Huahua taught a lot of methods of making fertilizer, treating diseases, and killing insects. Let’s review them quickly and try again next year!

Kalanchoe

Do you know, flower lovers, that Kalanchoe is also a succulent plant, so its mortality rate in summer is also high...

Black rot, waterlogging...the way longevity plants die is the same as that of succulents, usually caused by too much water, lack of ventilation, and excessive heat. If you encounter this problem, it is best to pick up good leaves and keep them for cuttings.

Fortunately, Huahua was well prepared and had already grafted a bunch of longevity seedlings with cuttings. The survival rate is super high. Although more than half of them are dead or injured now, at least there are some left, so there is no problem keeping them until the New Year!

Clivia

All flower lovers who have raised Clivia have experienced root rot. If you don't pay attention to it in summer, it will rot.

Do you think there is no hope once the roots are cut off? Then you are really too young, you must be a new fan of Huahua. Huahua has taught you many times how to save Clivia with rotten roots, so go and check it out!

Clematis

The most valuable item this year is clematis, but clematis has a problem: it is prone to wilt disease. Once the flowers fall, the disease begins to attack...

This is really a delicate disease. Many flower lovers have discovered the problem, but spraying pesticides is of no use, and they are reluctant to prune the plant, so the disease becomes more and more serious, and finally the whole plant withers. Once you discover it, you should prune it hard, and it will sprout again on its own.

So every time a flower asks for pruning, don’t take it lightly. Sometimes a little pruning can save a flower’s life!

Hydrangea

Even if you can avoid the bombardment of roses, you can't avoid the beauty of hydrangeas. The same goes for flowers. You say you won't buy them, but once you get to the flower market, you will fall in love with them.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that it looks red or blue when you buy it. It will turn into a vegetable as time goes by. When it blooms the next year, even its mother won’t be able to recognize it! It's because the pH in our home is unstable. Remember, acid soil produces blue and alkaline soil produces red. Acidic soil produces blue, and alkaline soil produces red.

By the way, there is one more thing. Many hydrangeas bloom on old branches. They need to be heavily pruned before August. Only after pruning can they bloom next year. If you forgot to prune this year, then...
