What to do if the roots of clematis rot

1. Water appropriately

Reason: Many flower lovers water clematis diligently, but they don’t know that excessive watering will cause its leaves to wither, roots to rot, and affect its normal growth.

Solution: Control the amount of watering at ordinary times, and don't be too diligent. Just keep the soil moist. Also, take shelter from rain during the rainy season. If you are caught in rain, take drainage measures in time to prevent water from accumulating in the potting soil.

2. Loosen the soil appropriately

Reason: If the soil for planting is not breathable, it will not be able to breathe normally. If it is also watered and fertilized in large quantities on a regular basis, it will easily cause root rot.

3. Disease prevention and control

Reason: A hot and humid environment can easily breed bacteria. If a disease occurs, the clematis will be harmed, the roots will be eroded and rot, and the leaves will turn yellow.
