The reason why the back of the camellia leaves turn yellow and curl a little

The reason why the back of the camellia leaves turn yellow and curl a little

1. Low temperature

Reason: Camellia trees cannot tolerate a low-temperature growing environment. If the back of the leaves begins to turn yellow or even curl, it may be because the surrounding temperature is low, causing frost damage. If left unattended, it may even cause the leaves to fall off.

Solution: Remove the yellow leaves and maintain a good surrounding temperature. If the plant suffers from frost damage, move it indoors in time. The temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius in winter and should be maintained above 10 degrees Celsius as much as possible.

2. Low humidity

Reason: It likes a growing environment with high air humidity and is very afraid of dryness. If the humidity is very low, the leaves will easily lack water and turn yellow, and may also curl.

Solution: If the air feels very dry, you can spray some water next to the camellia tree. This will increase the humidity and alleviate the symptoms of yellowing and curling leaves. In summer, you can also spray some water on the leaves, but don't expose them to sunlight immediately, otherwise the situation will worsen.

3. Poor ventilation

Reason: Camellia trees cannot stand high temperatures and stuffiness. If the room is not ventilated for a long time, the air in the room will not circulate, which will also cause this situation.

Solution: Place the camellia tree in a place with good air circulation. When the temperature is suitable, open the windows more often to let in air.
