How to grow ornamental gourds

1. Choose the seed

It is important to choose the right seeds before planting, whether you buy them online or from your own seeds, try to pick seeds that are large and relatively full. The color of the seeds selected should not be too light, and there should be no small insect holes on them. Only complete seeds can germinate better.

2. Seed Processing

After selecting, put them in a solution of carbendazim and soak them for about an hour before taking them out. Prepare a basin of warm water, put the seeds in it for about a day, take them out and wrap them with wet gauze, put them in a place with a temperature of 30℃, and wait for a week for them to germinate.

3. Planting

Prepare the flower pots and soil in advance, then place the processed seeds in the soil. Don't bury them too deep, about 1 cm will be enough. If it is planted too deep, it will be suffocated and affect germination.

4. Planting and maintenance

After planting, cover it with a plastic film. This will not only ensure that the temperature will not be too low, but also ensure the moisture of the soil. Wait until its seeds break through the soil and then remove the plastic film.
