Cultivation methods and precautions of multi-headed chrysanthemum

Cultivation methods and precautions of multi-headed chrysanthemum

1. Soil

When breeding, you need to use soil with good water retention and drainage, and it should be fertile and high in nutrients. You can mix sandy soil, leaf mold and cake fertilizer together. It is best to add an appropriate amount of phosphorus fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer as base fertilizer to increase nutrients so that it can grow more vigorously in the later stage.

2. Watering

It likes a humid environment and needs to be watered frequently during maintenance, but it is best not to allow water to accumulate to avoid root rot. Usually water it once every two days in summer, once every three or four days in spring and autumn. The temperature is low in winter, so you need to control the water level. You don't need to water it if the soil is not dry. Otherwise, the soil will easily become compacted and the plants will be frozen.

3. Lighting

It likes light and should be placed in a well-lit place and exposed to more sunlight during maintenance so that it can bloom more beautiful flowers. If it is placed in a dark place for a long time, it will easily cause the branches to grow too long and reduce the number of flowers.

4. Fertilization

It grows very rapidly in autumn every year, and consumes a lot of nutrients at this time, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer and nourishment in time. It is best to do it once a week, and the fertilizer can be decomposed sesame paste residue, which can meet the growth needs.

5. Notes

The peak growing season is autumn every year. After the buds appear, the extra buds on each branch should be cut off, leaving only one or two reserve buds. In addition, you should also pay attention to changing pots in time and replace them with larger pots, so that there will be more space for growth in the later stage and the root system can stretch better.
