1. Flower Language

The flower language of jasmine represents loyalty, respect, purity, chastity, simplicity, exquisiteness and charm. The meaning it symbolizes varies depending on the color of the flower. The white one symbolizes faithful love and can also be sent between friends to represent pure friendship. Purple symbolizes suspicion and distrust and is not suitable for use in interpersonal communication.

2. Story

According to legend, when Spain ruled the Philippines, there was a passionate young man named Lagangalin who did not want to see his country invaded, and he bravely took part in the national salvation movement. When he said goodbye to his girlfriend, he said that if he unfortunately died, don't feel sad for him, don't forget him, and always remember him and pray for him. After hearing this, his girlfriend swore that she would think about him and love him all her life.

This passionate young man died in the end. His girlfriend was heartbroken and cried all day long, and eventually died too. After her family buried her, they found a white flower they had never seen before growing in the grave. It was a fragrant flower: jasmine. Later, jasmine became the national flower of the Philippines, symbolizing faithful love.
